I distinctly remember that being a rebooted origin story created in the 80s by Frank Miller, and the original Catwoman became a cat bugular after having to break into an ex-husbands estate to retrieve her belongings and liking the expereince so much she kept it up afterwards the costume coming as a manifestation of her “profession” as a cat burglar.

I’ve also noticed the picture on the dkr site just label her as “Selina Kyle”, so perhaps this interpretation doesn’t even become Catwoman.
