My classmate just reminded me that about two years back the Danish Nazi Party actually moved to my town and one of the first things they did was go around putting in fliers in mail boxes (including the ones at my building).
I kinda feel bad for not having kept that illustration it had because it was so, fucking, hilarious. Also it managed to comically insult every non-western european/caucasian stereotype.
Otherwise I have not heard a peep from them since. My friend says she’s seen a few stickers/fliers, but she’s removed the ones she’s found. (as well as others have done too)
okay I don’t know if anyone remembers the “tons of nazi’s from all of northern Europe are coming to my town on the 31th to demonstrate” post, but there’s some follow up information. They cannot enter the muslim ghetto and they have to stay around city hall, also city hall has probably given them the biggest “fuck you” that’s politically possible.
The mayor arranged a concert rally yesterday with quite a few big danish bands just to inform people of the giant counter-demonstration they’re holding on the day the nazi’ll get here, but I think the best part is all the hilariously cheesy “support tolerance” posters that are everywhere, on all the buses, busstops and shops, big posters and banners with smiling muslims, africans and danes on them. So no matter where they go they’ll have diversity smiling happily at them.
On top of it all, all pubs close three days before because they won’t allow any nazis in their bar.I really do love my city.
aw yeah that’s super cool! Go Aarhus!
