Groaning, Tim managed to prop himself up on his arm and stare at Kon with a slightly dazed expression. “I don’t even know what you did to me, but I don’t think I want to move for a week.” There was no way that Tim could keep himself propped up like that, so he dropped his head back down to the covers.

And he can feel the barrier that keeps him away from Tim, for the first time he can sense a physical wall, so he starts punching it. There are no more thoughts in his head other that I need to get to the other side I need to get to the other side. It takes forever and his knuckles can’t stand the pressure anymore, not even with his ttk, but he keeps at it and his body is not going to make it, it’s falling apart but then he manages to open a gash and he can see Tim pulling back his cowl and Tim sees him, for the first time he sees Kon as he is.

YJ Headcanon:
Being two of the strongest members on the team, Nightwing paired Wonder Girl and Superboy together as sparing/workout partners. Conner hates it because he’s embarrassed to train with such an overenthusiastic freshman. (definitely not because she’s stronger than him) Cassie loves it because she likes to ask Conner all sorts of questions about the original team. Usually Conner just broods and ignores her fangirling, which in turn results in Cassie teasing him for being a such a drama queen.This is seriously adorable
